Meet each of the Five Elements of Chinese Medicine in living, breathing 3-D as Leta walks, talks, and even dances them right before your eyes!
"This work comes right from Leta's heart…and her funny bone!"
This workshop will focus on discovering how to determine a person's energetic makeup through the Five Elements -- wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
Each of the Five Elements has a directional movement that influences how we walk and dance, how we talk, what our eyes look like when interacting with others, the kind of sentence structure with which we speak, and how we respond to others who are the same or different elementally.
Leta Herman's workshops are valuable explorations into self-understanding and the dynamic of human relationships. Once you master the signature of each of the Five Elements, you have the keys that will open the door to greater healing for you, your loved ones, friends and associates.(4 hours)

In Chinese Medicine theory, there are five main meridian systems of the body (Primary, Sinew, Luo, Divergent, and Eight Extraodinary). In this workshop, Leta will provide an introduction to the differences between the five systems. We will then work on understanding the Primary Meridians, which are the most commonly used in Chinese Medicine.
The course will introduce you to the pathways of the meridians, some of the functions of each meridian and its related organ, the key points and their uses, as well as the poetry or the "ode" of the meridian.
This is a first in a series of workshops that cover interesting topics in Chinese Medicine. The course is useful for anyone thinking about training in acupressure or acupuncture, as well as those just interested in expanding their own personal knowledge. In addition, those who are in the healing field may appreciate understanding the meridians to enhance their own modality. This workshop will be followed by more focused workshops outlining each of the meridians plus other topics of interest in Chinese Medicine . (6 hours plus 1 hour lunch)
